Concertmaster, South Carolina Philharmonic I would like to recommend Miss Rachel Sanders to your attention. She is not only talented but has a wonderful attitude and shows a high level of dedication to her work in music. I can attest that Rachel has shown a special affinity for teaching, and she especially enjoys helping children. Clearly, she is pursuing a successful pathway to a fine career in teaching and performing music. Micah Gangwer Assistant Concertmaster, Charleston Symphony Orchestra I highly recommend Rachel Sanders to anyone looking for a Suzuki violin teacher, and I believe her studio would foster a caring, creative, and positive experience to any child. As someone who began violin in the Suzuki method when I was 4 years old, I can personally validate the importance an exceptional Suzuki teacher like Rachel can have in the musical development of a child. Rachel is highly qualified as a teacher and musician, and she is well respected in both regards by the professional music community throughout South Carolina. |

My daughter McKenzie started the Suzuki program with Rachel Sanders at the age of four and she is almost six now. Rachel has the knowledge and expertise to teach young children in a way to make it fun where they want to continue learning. Rachel tries to find out what her students likes and dislikes are and really connects with them. We are extremely happy to have found someone that has a passion for music as well as the gift of teaching.

Rachel has taught violin to my son for over a year. He's made great progress with her. He's five years old and loves violin. I love to see him learning about music and the instrument each week. Rachel is very patient and good with young children. She communicates in a way he understands and finds what he enjoys and what motivates him. She has very good skill at adapting to the unique needs of the student. I highly recommend her!
